Hartwig Home Improvements started with a focus on painting, drywall and carpentry in the early 1990’s. As with all businesses over the years our teams have grown and we now offer a full array of services. We work closely with the homeowners to give them the home of their dreams. We are detail oriented and clean taking extra precautions to minimize dust and debris.

Bob Hartwig owner of Hartwig Home Improvements was born and raised in New York where his father owned a painting company. As a second-generation painter Bob learn the art of painting at a very early age. Bob came to the Low Country in 1987 to expand his career in the construction field with his father-in-law. He has called Hilton Head Island his home and worked in the construction field ever since.

Bob has worked in most aspects of construction from new builds in the 1990’s when Hilton Head was exploding with growth to his main focus now of restore the Low Country homes to a beautiful more modern version. He has successfully built and trained several teams and demands excellence in all they do. He personally oversees and participates in all projects big or small to ensure his high standard of quality are always met.

We are based on Hilton Head Island and have vast experience in working with HOA communities providing a seamless remodel/repair for our clients.
